AASLD Meeting
The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases meeting took place in Boston on Friday, November 8, 2019. The conference aimed to bring together scientists and healthcare professionals dedicated to preventing and curing liver disease, providing an opportunity to celebrate achievements from the past year and to share insights into ongoing research and treatment efforts.
Passion Constellation
The event logo was inspired by the idea of a constellation—individual elements coming together to create a single, unified purpose. To bring this concept to life, we designed an interactive game where attendees used pieces of string to highlight and connect their passions.
Inspriation
Logo
The logo is inspired by a constellation, symbolizing many elements coming together as one. It reflects the event’s theme of “One Shining Purpose,” uniting standout individuals in a shared space. The constellation forms a liver shape, with its lowest point connecting to the word “One,” highlighted in red with a subtle glow to emphasize the event’s luminous spirit.
Supporting visual
The lines converge at a central focal point, which glows to emphasize a single, defining moment.
Nodes, like stars, either orbit or move inward, suggesting motion toward that center. Varied colors represent diverse backgrounds uniting for one purpose.
Line weights of these elements should match or remain lighter than the logo, ensuring the logo always remains dominant—even at larger scales.
